when heem was trying to figure out wtf to do in 20th century classical music he heard some servant gril singing old folk songs. he remembered how strange a lot of that stuff was, and portable recording had just been invented, so he set out for several years all across the balkans and eastern yurop to try to transcribe it
most of his melodies
and that song specifically are literally just that: old folk melodies from wherever. he obviously gets a bit more weird w it sometimes, but odd time signatures and polytonality arent even rly that foreign of concepts to balkan music, so it ended up being a p gud fit.
thats why his shit is so radically different from all of his contemporaries. they were all getting lost in the sauce with stupid shit lik serialism or whatever, meanwhile his stuff was actually based on something real
either way, gud thing he did, cuz if he waited a couple extra decades a lot of that stuff prolly wouldve been wiped out cuz commies think folk

or if receiver has headphone jack, even better , plug it into the input of whatever, record it
if you need to do it to a computer its fine just use lik audacity or reaper or whatever. just make sure to check ur lvls
before arming the laptop mic instead and recording 20mins of you breathing in a quiet room when my doubledecker broke
first tape: kil, second tape: click ffwd to flip it to side B which was the only side that worked (and ONLY after it flipped) i found one of those handheld tape recorders and dubbed/duped off of that. theyre actually p nice if u can get a newish one cuz theyre usually way less beat to shit than any used tape deck unit. its nice if you wanna dub random internet bullshit/samples too, can just have it in ur lap and dub 5secs of pretty music over the fade out/ending of the last song, wind it back a fraction of a second, immediately cut in the next song, etc
i always used to use it to run these kindsa songs off the edge of the tape. usually sounded neat spiraling off into chipmunks halfway thru
